Mother’s Day Family and Maternity Portraits {Echo Park Family Photographer}

You give me time to breath it in.

Every day I encounter a new unknown.

Time to trust, to rest my heart’s nervous song.

Thank you Mama.

Not yet ready to leave the safeness of your hand curled around mine.

It feels like home.

I reach for your leg during times of uncertainty.

Holding on tight. You let me stay because you silently understand.

One day Mama,

I will do it on my own.

You give me time to walk that journey slowly.

I twirl, I turn, I can’t contain my pitter patter feet!

Mama, you give me space to spread my wings and discover my everyday moments of happiness.

I dance to the beat that only I can hear.

Come dance with me Mama.

Your joys fill my heart.

Mama you are my safe, you are my home.

I will always remember.

For doing the hardest job on Earth, for giving life to your most precious blessings,

Thank you to all the beautiful mothers who sacrifice their time, energy, and give their never ending encouragement.

I’m honored to create images that capture the essence of your love.

Happy Mother’s Day!

With Love,

Carolina

Mission San Juan Capistrano Wedding Portraits {Lifekisses Photography}

“Esa mujer,

A few months ago, I decided not to photograph weddings. What I miss the most about them is capturing that giddy love. So…  when Melissa asked me to photograph her wedding portraits, I could not resist. I had asked Melissa if Alejandro would be interested in doing a ” First Look” session. First Looks are absolutely amazing. Though untraditional, they give the bride and groom some private time to enjoy each other  just minutes before their wedding ceremony. After photographing several first look sessions, and actually doing one for my own wedding, I can confidently say it ends up being one of the favorite parts of the couple’s special day.

“He’ll never go for it,” Melissa sadly explained as we planned our portrait session over breakfast. She knew he wold not be comfortable with the idea, and wanted him to be happy. So, it was the end of that conversation.

Our plan was to meet at Mission San Juan Capistrano for portraits before their Newport Beach wedding. Much to my surprise, Alejandro arrived alone with one of the biggest smiles I had ever seen on a groom. Dressed in traditional Mexican charro attire, he informed me that the the night before he had agreed to have a First Look session. “That’s what she wants, and I’m here to make her happy.” Simple words, but right there I knew these two understood what this marriage thing was all about. Individually, they had both kept their partners happiness as their first priority. But as they say, happy wife… happy life. And what a gorgeous wife this was.

Melissa drowned in beauty.

And here is the result of our first look…

Alejandro and Melissa, may you continue to live each day with one goal in mind… each other’s happiness.

Love can only grow from this moment on.

It was an honor to be part of your amazing day.

Felicidades!

All I can say is Wow. You are just so amazingly talented, Caro. She’s a beautiful bride, but these pictures are more than beautiful. They’re art.

Breathtaking wedding photography!! These pics look like they are straight out of a magazine! What a beautiful couple and location. I enjoyed every single picture as they depicted such different moments (giddy, romantic, sexy, and some serious love)! I can’t say I have a favorite because I can look at all of them over and over again.
